I'm a West Virginian at heart living with my husband in North Carolina. 

I graduated in 2010 with a BA in Creative Writing--don't know
how much of the "writing" part I've used since then, 
but the "creative" part has definitely continued.

Blogs and Etsy shops aren't all I love to design--I discovered jewelry design 
back in 2011 and have been happily running Katya Valera ever since. 
My most recent undertaking is my third Etsy shop,  
Streetlights at Midnight, which offers original, 
printable quotes and greeting cards.

I'm all about healthy living, as I fight chronic illnesses daily,
and find inordinate joy in music, genealogy, and the little things in life.


KV Designs was born in summer 2014 out of the unexpected talent and enjoyment I discovered
 while designing and branding my own blog and first Etsy shop (see above).

The endless possibilities of blog and shop design excite me, and whether you are
